The solution from Logitrans Handling
Logitrans supplied three vacuum lifting systems at Snick EuroIngredients, each tailored to a specific application:
- A stainless steel column swivel crane was installed on the mezzanine, allowing bags to be efficiently discharged into mixing stations. The robust construction and stainless steel finish make the system ideal for use in hygienic food environments.
- In another production area, Snick chose a rail system, which supports the same application as on the mezzanine, but with a larger work zone and more flexibility of movement.
- In the warehouse, a third rail system was integrated into the racking racks specifically for bag picking. This system allows bags to be removed from the racks quickly and ergonomically, without physical strain for the warehouse workers.
Thanks to these solutions, lifting is smoother, safer and with less physical effort. The cooperation between Snick EuroIngredients and Logitrans Handling shows how ergonomics and customization go hand in hand.
